Education and advanced training play a key role for the association. On the basis of equal opportunities and solidarity, the Swiss Mercantile Society strives for a modern and fair work environment.
The association is (co-)owner of several diploma examinations in professional education and training, of the SIB Schweizerisches Institut für Betriebsökonomie and of the University of Applied Sciences in Business Administration Zurich (HWZ Hochschule für Wirtschaft Zürich).
